He's been hot one game, cold the next. Granted, this is a 16 yr old playing against 18-20 yr olds. Still, suppose his numbers this year are mediocre, enough that the top two teams pass on him...

Hard to say, at least in my opinion. I feel very skeptical since he has so much hype around him since he launched those 500 foot shots in that HR derby thing last year. I would much rather have Tallion, but there is still something that draws me to Harper, if only for the publicity it would bring the O's, kinda like Strasburg for the Nats.

This kid is going to be 17, maybe 18, after one mediocre year in college, and he is going to ask for multi-millions. Who is going to pay him even 5-10 million for those first 3 years he will be in the minors. He's and the team who drafts him are going to be put into a no win situation.
