    • Decinces with the Angels accumulated 18.9 bWAR while Disco Dan had 1.2 bWAR. 馃槻 The Orioles left side of the infield could have been Decinces and Cal for much of the 1980s. In the long run it probably doesn't change much, but maybe Decinces being on the 1982 Orioles pushes the team into the playoffs over the Brewers. Maybe I was wrong about that what if the Orioles won back-to-back World Series in 1982 and 1983.
    • I remember many of those players that had unusual stances like Franco would stand like that and shift into a someone normal posture right as the pitch was being thrown. 聽
    • Since we're talking about unusual batting stances it gives me an excuse to post Julio Franco batting. It worked for Franco, but I don't know how he got his bat through the zone in time to make decent contact and also hit the ball hard. Plus his knees were buckling in addition. I don't think today's coaches would allow him to use this stance even if the results in MILB were good.
    • Was on base 4 more times tonight. Funny we are talking about a 20 year old struggling with a 953 OPS in triple A.
    • I like this guy based on his name alone. Will be interesting to see next year if there's any potential for some of these AA guys to get called up assuming they are ready.
