    • Weird that you would notice. 😝
    • I think Santander is a big piece to our lineup and I don't want to see him go anywhere, in fact I would like to see him extended.  However if we are operating like a small market team like Tampa Bay (not sure what we are operating like under new ownership)... wouldn't Santander be the exact guy Elias would trade this deadline since his contract is expiring? Can a small market team like the Orioles just let a Santander walk for free and get nothing at the end of the season? I don't want to trade him but I wouldn't definitively say he isn't going anywhere.
    • The way Burnes has pitched, it's been a win-win. You have to give up something to get something.
    • He has had a lot of bad fluky plays at second though.  Concentration type things like the dropped pop up.  That will affect those numbers greatly. I wouldn’t worry about him long term over there and I think those numbers are a bit skewed by a SSS and bad mistakes. He may be better At third vs second but he’s not going to end up at second unless Holliday is eventually at SS.
    • More than two decades.   Truth is, on radio he was way better at play by play than Manfra.  But Manfra was a humble guy and Hunter was kind of full of himself.  On TV, he loved to ask these leading questions to the color man, the subtext of which was “I know so much about baseball, don’t you agree?” Drove me nuts, except I’d enjoy it when Palmer would answer in a way that had a subtext of “you have no idea what you’re talking about, you pompous moron.”
