There you go again, I never called you stupid because you said he was MVP Hes the number one prospect in baseball, partly because he was drafted 1:1, so was Tim Beckman and Delmon Young. For Fu**fs sakes man stop taking every differing opinion of youres as a personal attack -
Because they were about to enter September and October in a pennant chase and tried to exhaust every possibility that he might help them? -
If they think it’s possible, the last thing they will want to do is create public expectations that could put pressure on Bautista to rush his return, so I would expect them to keep the possibility on the low down. I also think he would need to be throwing in rehab games by ~ Sep 1. -

If he’s ready, are you rushing him? It was that long ago where a football player would tear an ACL and it took a full year to recover..now it’s 8-10 months. It wasn’t long ago before an Achilles injury ended careers. Now you are back within a year. At some point, guys will start to recover from TJ surgery sooner as they make more and more advances in medicine. -
I know that, I'm not a rube. My point was to the bolded "Etzel was playing CF over EBJ before his promotion". I will provide my own context: that is flat out false. In the two weeks prior to his promotion Etzel STARTED once, Josenberger once and EBJ got the nine other starts in CF. The majority of Etzel's starts were when EBJ was injured-that's simply a fact. Look Etzel's a wonderful story so far but he's not a potential 70 grade speed/ defense guy. EBJ was not drafted because of his hit tool, he was drafted for his peripheral skills.
