I still find it hard to believe Arrieta threw Beltre an 0-2 fastball when Beltre is prone to strikeouts on balls.

I'm not too perturbed by this start. Arrieta has great stuff, he made a mistake there to Beltre throwing him a 0-2 fastball over the plate and he needs to throw more strikes. I know it sounds strange, but I'm still more worried about Tillman.

I agree 100%. Arrieta has great stuff. I didn't see that inning coming after the first two. I hope Buck let's him go back out and try to finish up strong tonight.

I think some of it could be calling, but Arrieta can shake Fox off if he doesn't like a call, so the onus is still on him.
