OFFNY
Glad to hear that. But Tillman started, right ? Was he bad ? Yes, he was bad.
Skeletor
About as bad as Wieters' swing right there.

jiminnj
Looking in on gameday, in that inning Buerhle threw exactly 2 balls in the strike zone. None to Adam Jones, he took 1 ball, and swung at 4 pitches out of zone before making an out. Vlad took two balls and made an out on a ball in the zone. Wieters swung at a strike in the zone and then on the next four pitches all out of zone , he swung at two grounding the last one that was very low softly to short. With this sort of aggressive style, we are making it incredibly easy on the opposing pitchers. (Unfortunately it is like this most innings and most nights). Can_of_corn
Uh Buck, when you said you might have to move Vlad out of cleanup; I hope you didn't mean just 1 game. Vlad actually has good career numbers vs Buehrle, he was as good a choice as anyone tonight.

Don't you realize that Vlad's career numbers are virtually meaningless now. They were run up when he was Vlad Guerrero, he no longer is that same player. Sparkwinder
Davis was playing even with the bag on that play. That's his put-out to make. I put the blame on Davis there.
