His first AB bothered me more than the two double plays. He is a number 5 hitter and looked like he was trying to advance Jones like he was a slap hitter.

Regardless of how that ended, Betemit gets player of the game from me for taking that as far as he could. He REALLY didn't want to lose the game. Players like Chris Davis, Matt Wieters, and Endy Chavez could learn a lesson about EFFORT ​from Wilson.

I swear to God if Wieters weren't an AS catcher I'd be calling for his trade or DFA. The guy is bringing down our team more than he's helping lately, even with his work behind the plate. Unreal. Absolutely baffling.
