Yes, he is way, way better at this than two years ago. It just seems to come occasionally now and then he goes for long stretches laying off those.

One question. If you see the guy is struggling to throw strikes and his pitch count is up, why would Hardy swing at the first pitch. Im not dwelling on the negative I just want to know.

He's trying to get his bat going so probably went up thinking if he gets his pitch he's gonna go after it.
