Well to be fair i don't really know what that would prove. That being said it would appear that even if he lost it after falling into the stands that he held onto it long enough.

Call me crazy, but I think Gausman had an ideal first outing. Flashes of brilliance, but also got hit enough that he's going to learn he has to work for it. I think he's going to be a stud.

I really am not sure, but can't the ground pop the ball out, no matter how long you have it? Why do the fielders always show the ball after a dive or falling over a fence if not?
