Most Valuable-Schoop's Bat or Flaherty's Glove

Schoop is OPSing .731 right now as a rookie. That's pretty darn good. He looks immensely more comfy at 2B.

Schoop does look pretty good at 2B - and a lot more "comfy.". He's had a good deal of difficulty at 3B. Not everyone can switch positions seamlessly, especially as a rookie, despite what Machado did last year.

Yeah, Flaherty looks a little like Blade. I'm not sure whether he's the shortstop of the future. I'm not even sure he deserves a nickname yet.
Flaherty looks a lot like Ron Hansen to me.

Who was a pretty good SS and had a couple of decent years: 255 .342 .440 .781 in '60 and .261 .347 .419 .766 in '64.

By the time I was an O's fan, Hansen was on the White Sox, but I saw him as one of many RoY's the O's had during that era and as the one who started the tradition of 1960's Oriole rookies hitting 22 homers: Hansen; Bowens; Blefary.
