Really? I will have to check the replay. Looked to me like a routine base hit but they had him shaded way to LF (even though he pulled the ball on the previous one).

Those guys are talented. How many guys do you know who are promoted from A ball to the big club for Sept call ups?

I'm more concerned with all the hits to other guys and not to Kawasaki. Those were both cheapies. Maybe it was time for him to have a bad game. I hope it's out of his system.

Tillman is currently tied with Greg Maddux, whose team went 15-0 (Maddux went 13-0 with 2 no-decisions) in his road starts in the strike-shortened 1995 season.

Maddux' Braves went 2-0 in Maddux' 2 no-decisions that season.

Unlike Maddux, Tillman's Orioles did not go undefeated in all of his no-decisions this season. Tillman is 8-0 with 7 no-decisions on the road so far this year. In those 7 no-decisions of Tillman's, the Orioles have gone 3-4.
