Took a quick power nap. That's a crappy way to win.

Previous to that inning, Cardinals pitchers had retired 25 out of the 27 previous batters that they had faced, going all the way back to the 1st inning.

After fighting back from an immediate 4-0 deficit, and having the pitchers hold the fort for 8 straight innings while the comeback was being mounted, that is about as painful of a finish as can be sustained.

A lead-off walk to start it, and then throwing the game away (literally AND figuratively) to end it.

If a solo home run had snuck over the fence right down the line, that would have been a little easier to stomach.
