Rosenthal and Reynolds talking about DD on MLB Network. Basically Reyonolds saying he would be upset if he were an Orioles fan with all the inactivity. Rosenthal says clearly DD is not engaged in the offseason.

At this point DD better hope he gets the Blue Jays job because he is pretty much has as much chance of getting a job within baseball as Ray Rice has toe become the head of NOW.

Thanks for helping Ken! :ohlord:

That's to be expected from him, lobbying for Toronto as he has done the entire time. Olney worked here also, but Buster doesn't have a big chip on his shoulder.

I've made my feelings about Ken being a punk instead of a respected journalist well known.

Give up a top prospect(s) to not be deposed on tampering charges when they can assume that Duquette was forthright about any contact when asked by his employer, the attorney.

PA should absolutely continue to hold out at least for Hoffman. DD will do the job if he stays. He has a 4 years left on his contract, if he does a crappy job the next 4 years there won't be any job out there. He has to understand PA's frustration with the combination of the timing and how this went down.

As for what other GMs and managers have netted in terms of a trade, show me one that had 4 years left on his contract for a good price. Bryce Harper is worth more in a trade than someone with similar skills who is a year shy of free agency. The same can be said of DD.

That's what I assumed. Thanks.

Actually, in his zeal to hate on Baltimore, Rosenthal has actually harmed Toronto, IMO. This has reached the proportions it has because of Rosenthal. The tampering by Toronto has inadvertently been made obvious by Rosenthal. The high compensation being discussed is, in large part, because of Rosenthal's big mouth. His opinion isn't going to affect Ed Rogers' lust for DD, but it will work up the Toronto fans into an even bigger furor. Keep up the good work, Ken. :laughlol:

Ken's bias has been showing through in how he answers questions & how he words his tweets. He's holding on to some serious dislike for the O's organization. And if they offer Hoffman, I think we will take it.
