He was a ballyhooed player when he defected from Cuba but has been a bit of a disappointment. Still, he is only 25, is in his first year of arbitration, can play both corner outfield spots and has power (60 homers in the past three seasons). The White Sox could use help at the back end of their rotation, and the Orioles have a surplus there – so this one could be a fit.

Just say "no" to Viciedo. Not a good hitter and even worse in the field. Big time pass, please.

He might be interesting in the Delmon Young role. But he'll probably cost way more than what would be reasonable for the short half of a platoon DH.

Last year they got pretty good value out of Delmon, coming off a sub-replacement season in the middle of a sub-replacement career. It's all about how you use them.

Viciedo is only 25 years old. He was highly touted coming out of cuba. Would it be a shock if he had a breakout? Not to me. That's the kind of guy you want to take a shot on - much more so than Alex Rios or someone like that.
