Just don't want to see the bastards clinch on our field.

Amen to that.

As I said in another thread, I don't mind them clinching on our field IF WE BEAT THEM when they clinch.

If they look at the scoreboard and see that the Red Sox have defeated the Yankees in the Bronx to give them the division title, they can celebrate all they want ....... AFTER they lose the game to the Orioles.

Preferably in their locker room, and not on the field.

They would look kind of strange dancing around the diamond while the Orioles were beating their asses.

OK, the Blue Jays apparently managed to make assholes out of themselves one more time.

As I was making the 4-hour drive home from Baltimore to Brewster after the doubleheader on Wednesday night, I was listening to Baltimore Sports radio (105.7.)

Dave Johnson and his partner stated that AFTER the completion of the doubleheader, the Orioles' grounds-crew was trying to prepare the field for the next day's game. Johnson's partner (Tom Davis?) stated that the Blue Jays brought their chairs, tables, and champagne bottles out onto the field and insisted on celebrating there, as opposed to simply popping their corks in the locker room. The Orioles grounds-crew confronted them and said, "Please ...... get off of the field, and let us prepare it for tomorrow's game."

Winning the division wasn't enough for them. They had to be obnoxious creeps through and through, right until the end. Listening to that really pissed me off.

I didn't know where to put this and I don't know how to paste the tweet of an instigram, but former BJ Daniel Norris (traded for Price) was diagnosed with cancerous cells that he is now having removed.

I follow Adam Jones and he had tweeted Norris' instigram message.

I felt bad for him. Hope it is something that he can recover from.

It would be great if the Royals could do the Orioles a favor, and win today and celebrate on the Blue Jays' homefield.

And unlike was the case at OPACY 3 weeks ago, the Blue Jays' grounds-crew won't have to be concerned about getting the field ready for a game the next day.

This is where it ends.

I think so, too.

    • Well to be fair to Sears he had to face our offense, Irvin didn’t. But man I really like what Cole has done, I thought once Means and Bradish came back it would be a pretty easy decision, but Cole is doing his thing. Going to be interesting what they do, not sure they will put Means in the bullpen.  But adding Suarez, Perez and Wells to our bullpen and taking out Ramirez, Tate and ? should make it better.
    • It’s the MASN feed replay that shows this, but it’s not in any of the highlight clips.
    • Some people on here really tried to claim Sears was a really good pitcher and way better than Irvin.
    • They’ve added a handful of additional receivers in the UDFA class https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/rumor-mill-ravens-undrafed-free-agent-tracker-2024-nfl
    • Didn't see today's game in it's entirety but I will say this.  I feel 100% more confident with Mateo playing second and turning  a DP rather than JH right now.  JH will be fine there.  In time.   But even forgetting his hitting, D wise he just isn't there yet.   And yes I know the metrics say he is fine.  But to me, using the eye test, he looked very shaky fielding and throwing,
    • I like Kevin.  He is constantly improving.  My only beef is that he doesn't seem to understand that a foul ball isn't always out of play.   A ball can be hit foul, but still be in the field of play.
    • My preferred day 3 WR would have been Troy Franklin, but he apparently had a bad combine on positional drills (which might have been because he had the flu.)  And he got picked by Denver pretty early.   Devontez Walker is kind of intriguing.  He's 6'2", barely.   A bit on the skinny side but ran in the mid-4.3s.  His route tree is pretty limited, mostly short quickouts/slants and go/post routes. But he's really good at the deep routes.  Sort of a discount DK.  He's reported to have good hands and good deep ball tracking ability as well.  We have to see how that translates in the pro game.
