Probably right sir but given our options, I'd do it.

It was a nice theory in the winter but if it had a 1% chance in February, it has a 0% chance now. They wouldn't make such a drastic usage change now.

You definitely can speak more intelligently on his repitiore than I. I think success goes a long way in development. He's had a lot of success. Do you think his other pitches are that bad?

I think he has not thrown more than two in four years. And the second one, he throws less than 30% of the time. It's that one, wild, wonderful pitch of his. The best pitch in the majors.

You make excellent points sir. Maybe your right. One can dream he is the answer:) I k ow this much, with Givens, Brach, O'Day and the guy I am not going to mention by name yet because he might get hurt, we have one nice bullpen!

Britton isn't starting so it doesn't really matter.

Further, given the current arbitration environment, it is somewhat self-defeating to have Givens rack up saves. He can dominate the hold statistic and it won't do much to his arbitration raises (at least relative to saves).
