Fairly selective Adam that was swinging at his pitches only early in the count has disappeared and it makes me sad.

My guess is he is hurt and struggling and that makes it hard to retain those lessons.

He's been a slightly better than league average lefty to this point in his career, and much better than average so far this year. ERA+ is not the end-all-be-all, but it gives a very simple comparison to average:

2012 - 105
