He isn't going to get that much. Splits aren't good and injured a lot. I hope we bring him back, not saying that. Maybe that much in incentives.

Is there any doubt that if we had anyone to replace Gonzo that we would just shut him down for the year? How about Mike Wright 2.0. It's not like there going to be able to get him experience late in games, protecting leads.

Any pitcher with decent stuff and a decent game plan can mow through our lineup. Plus the whole "day game" and "get away game". We've been really mailing these in lately. Last three, Iwakuma no hitter, Ventura career high in K's, now Holland is well on his way.

I hope we can find a better first baseman somewhere next year.

I do think there could be a role on the team for Pearce, depending on the cost.

If that role is starting 1Bman, then we darn well better have gotten some REALLY good players to fill our other holes (LF, RF, DH).
