That was a translation error in the Korean media. He actually said "lion", not "liar". Here is a picture of the coach:

MiL contract with ST invite?

No player is bad on this type of deal. Other teams have been getting vets on these recently. Hopefully DD has built up enough of a rep with these guys getting legit shots to contribute to the team, or trading them to other teams for a shot, that we can pick up an Arroyo type on a milb deal this year.
