I really hope so. The pitchers that initiate these bench clearing brawls really should get suspended 15-20 games. Missing one start or just getting pushed back a game is nothing.

Depends on if he appeals and how long that process takes. If JJ is back, I'm fine. If not, then I hope its against some horrid team like San Deigo, who even if we put in Janish, it won't matter.

That was a pretty solid hit by Manny. I don't see how they could give him less than Odor.

I just saw a slower motion replay. It wasn't very solid. More of a glancing shot and didn't stop Ventura whatsoever from coming forward. The intent was there, but it didn't land anywhere close to as square as Odor's shot on Bautista did.

If it's an obvious bean ball, I don't know why a guy punching someone gets more heavy discipline than a fastball. Both seem pretty dangerous to me.
