I was wondering about that! So you need to be on the 40 to be a September call up.

The broadcast said we need infielders and Janish makes sense. I sure would like to see the light come on and he realizes his potential.

I reckon most scouts believe Janish's potential as a no-hit guy with a solid glove has already been more or less realized. I like him, I just can't picture the upside beyond what we've already seen.

Paul Janish is 33 years old. The word 'potential' hasn't been associated with him in a very long time. I do love his defense, but his future is behind him.

I think they said he will be unable to throw again this year. Personally he's one of the two guys. His bat is nothing special and he can't play the field
