There's something to the fact that before this year he had never pitched in relief.  Even in the minors.  He has Brach-esque stuff for a reliever.  And yes, Brach is still a top 10 RP in MLB.

Is Asher too valuable to take out of the pen now and put in the rotation?  I think so.  I say keep Asher in this role and have Ynoa replace Ubaldo.  We play so many close games that we need the pen every night.  Asher has allowed everyone to go back to a comfortable role and rested the back end guys.  

I say don't mess with success and keep Asher in the pen.

Well Asher is replacing Ulbaldo, and based on his performance so far I'd say he's earned it.

Hopefully he can help stabilize the rotation and help get things rolling in the right direction.
