Olney says O's are purposefully moving towards a Britton deal. Just hope they don't undersell.

I don't think PA would put up with that.  In fact, I bet this trade proposal has to be signed off by him personally.

Yeah, but what is PA looking for in a deal? My fear is a guy like Buehler/McKenzie is less valuable to him than a ML-ready, lower upside player.

PA wouldn't he needs to trust DD, Buck and the scouting department if they say it's the right deal.

We have something that the tigers, mets, white sox, don't have.  Leverage.  We can keep Britton and try to compete next year.  

PA has to sign off on this.  So they have to blow him away.  We all know how hard that's going to be.  So the Dodgers and Astros need to pony up or we'll keep Britton and see where we are next year.

There is too much competition for them not to get top dollar on Britton.  They can basically say the first team to give up Verdugo, zimmer or Fisher + wins.
