Good stuff. We’ve seen some pretty tough pitching so far.  Hopefully these numbers will play out better against some lesser quality of SP.

Nice thing about him batting lead off is there is a possibility he could strike out 5 times tonight.

I know it's early in the season.   I know he's owed millions.    But, how long do they keep this guy?   Can they just cut their losses?    It's been obvious since the second half of the 2016 season that his bat speed is gone.

Well, I don't know if the Davis-leadoff experiment is over.   I hope it is.

But it certainly will take a hiatus tomorrow.   There's NO WAY he will be leading off vs one of the top 3 or 4 lefthanded pitchers in the majors.   In fact, I think it could be a good spot to give him a day off.

If Davis is leading off tomorrow I would ask that Buck undergo a psych eval.

It's a little bit sad to see a big guy like Davis look completely helpless at the plate, but I think it's time for him to bat 10th.

This might sound insane but is the reason they have organizational utility man Garabez Rosa at 1B in Norfolk (as opposed to legitimate 1B depth) because the O’s have considered DFA’ing Davis to the minors to work out his problems?

Put him in a platoon at 1B and bat him 9th.  He's killing the lineup.
