Yes, Cal made really good money for his era, but nothing like the dollars, these guys make these days.

Heck, Gronk makes so much with his singing bonuses and ads, that he has yet to spend one dime of his salary.

I know what you were talking about, hence why I said my point as "beyond inflation," which was a reference to purchasing power of 1980 (or past year, more generally) versus today.

Good thing he recovered his coin collection that was stolen the other day.
