A lot of players who are not available now will be available closer to the deadline when the calculus about their team's postseason chances has changed enough. That will be true regardless of whether or not Holliday is on the table. -

A #3 type starter (or better) would be the ideal pickup for me. I like Dean Kremer, but I'd prefer him to be #4 starter in the rotation come postseason. -

Aberdeen is definitely a pitcher's park. Many have suggested there's something with the batter's eye that's extremely punitive. This is from 2019 and earlier, but has the park factor at Aberdeen being at best neutral and mostly negative: https://billpetti.github.io/minor_league_park_factors/ -

Thanks that makes sense even though I have some issues with Fangraphs logic on why Stowers isn't included. -
Cowser was eligible at the beginning of the year and they touched on that; they didn't upgrade Cowser's grade because he ran out of eligibility early in the season and they felt like changing his grade like that would be cheating so they would just live with being wrong. -

I believe it's based on status at the start of the 2024 season, that way it's not a moving target as they release the lists over the course of the season. -
