I was looking forward to, and then highly disappointed, in Jax's promotion and flop (He'll be back, and he'll be fine). Glad to see Norby come up and hit a bomb. But Coby? Ohhhhhh, Coby's Glaus-like potential injected into this lineup drains the blood from my rational brain and engorges my murders-row fantasies. -
They said the velocity on his throws is 71mph. That is decent high school catcher territory. -
Jose Trevino's throwing has gone down the toilet. He allowed 9 SBs including a couple where he couldn't get a grip on the ball. It looks like the NYY pitchers weren't doing him any favors but his pop time is one of the worst in the league. With Gunnar, Westburg, Mateo, and Mullins we could do some damage on the base paths if Trevino's catching. Wells and Trevino split time so we should get at least 1 game with him. -

Did a quick search on BB-Ref, and this looks like the one. -
That brought me back memories of a game I attended in Camden Yards against Seattle, I think it was 1998. Jesse Orosco got out of a bases loaded no out jam, with the last out being a broken bat ground out that Orosco had to field while getting hit by the splinters, and got the out. The O's won in extra innings on a Palmeiro HR. Is there any chance anyone here remembers that game? -
