Sisco has -6.4 dWAR and overall a -.2 FWAR( and a 94 WRC.) Maybe it’s a race to the bottom, but according to Fangraphs, Severino remains better.

Fangraphs incorporates their in house framing metrics into their dWAR for catchers.

I'd be wary of it.

seriously though, why do you use BBR and not Fangraphs? BBR has always seemed hard to navigate compared to Fangraphs.

Teach a man to fish and all that.

I use both depending on what I am looking at.  Something like splits they have the same information.

I don’t like fish. But I take your point. That’s why I stay at FG. It’s easier so far and always referring to one WAR is more clear than bouncing back and forth.

But I disagree with Fangraphs' catching metrics while  preferring their pitching.

If I take what I think is the best of both and clearly mark which I am using isn't that better?

That said, 4 out of his last 6 starts previous to today have been solid, and I am thrilled that he has managed to keep the Red Sox off of the scoreboard in this still very young game so far.
