I’m gonna guess Stanton this is it for Stanton this year. The Yankees are collapsing. Judge’s foot has been messed up all season too. Their position player group is probably the worst in the AL East. Juan Soto can only do so much. Lucas Gil did a nice Gerrit Cole impression too. We’ll see how long that lasts. -

Why such tough standards for pitchers, but hitters just need a .800 OPS or Elias is violating the CBA? -

Mullins had that one career year, but other than that he’s been a .720ish OPS player. Which combined with his GG level defense and baserunning is extremely valuable. Toss his career year out and his slump to begin this year, and factor in age. This is who Mullins is. A .700 OPS CF with GG defense. We’ll see how valuable Elias thinks that is this offseason. -

Burnes and Rodriguez have to be lights out and we need DC to come back and be the excellent pitcher he has been but we also know he’s not a 5-6 inning saves guy. It’s hard to envision us winning an AL pennant, much less a WS, relying on Kimbrel in the highest of leverage situations and a lot of innings going to guys like Irvin, Kremer and Cano.
