Tracking Ex Oriole Thread

Quality starts for Bundy and Gausman. A scoreless inning for Darren O'Day. Hanser Alberto came in as a defensive substitution for KC and it looked like he had an infield hit but the Rangers challenged and he was ruled out at first to go 0-1. Jose Iglesias went 0-4 but had a clutch play in the field to prevent a leadoff hit in the eighth.

Mike Yaz went 0-5 with 3 Ks. I have nothing against him but it would be pretty nice not to have any more threads on the main board moaning about him.

Amazing that Bundy is a pitcher who no longer pitches off his FB. I mean, not amazing, but the turnaround from power pitcher to pitching backwards successfully is complete.

Surprised no one mentioned Yermin Mercedes going 5-5 with 4 RBI in his first career start last night.

Yeah saw that after @Legend_Of_Joey mentioned it in the catcher's thread on the main board.  Quite a feat and he was excited all day.  When his first hit ball came back in - Pujols bounced it off his chest jokingly.  Great story!

Back in his Delmarva and Frederick days, his hit tool was the best in the league, but it had several holes. Seems like he cleaned it up a bit. Good for him.

The dream continued with 3-3 (first dinger) and an 8-8 start but finally made out!  Deets here ...
