3 innings complete now.  O's are down 2-0.   Our hitters have 4 BB on the day so far which is nice.  But not much to show for it.  Hays has a BB and a SB.

Well, Sanchez’s big claim to fame is that he’s a good defender. Ruiz is not. Sanchez had a terrible Spring on defense, And that’s probably why they dumped him, but Ruiz is almost certainly no more competent at second that he is at third, so the team is sacrificing defense as well as offense instead of choosing one over the other.

In his pro career, Ruiz has played two innings at 2B, both in 2019. It's good to see things are set at that position as ST wraps up.

Yeah, I was surprised Sanchez was released, but I like that we'll have both Urias and Valaika. Esp. with 14 pitchers.
