You can throw the teaching method of trying to hit it back up the middle.  That was the way I was taught my entire life and his I coached.  Now you hit it right up the box your gonna back to dugout as one of the middle infielders is standing there now.

I'm in the camp that's a good thing. The numbers say you shift, you shift. You get outs. How is that not baseball?

The game evolves. Manfred can .... AMONG OTHER THINGS ...... go sit in a corner and think about what he's said.

It's like golfers complaining how a course is mowed and set up.... IT PLAYS THE SAME ON BOTH SIDES! Deal with it. Change. Evolve.

Don't change a 150 year old game because some stupid commish thinks HE can MAGICALLY make it better all of a sudden.

I just cannot stand listening to that woman. She might be the nicest human being to Ever grace our planet, but she sounds like Siri.

She should’ve been that counselor who talks people off the ledge, because she has that kind of “let’s all go to sleep” quality in her voice.
