Tuesday, September 28: Bruce Zimmermann returns as Orioles try to play spoiler vs Chris Sale

Roster Moves:  Bruce Zimmermann is coming off the 60 day IL to start.  Tyler Nevin is recalled from Norfolk.  Anthony Santander and Chris Ellis both went on the 10 day IL, thus ending their seasons.  To make room on the 40 man roster for Zimmermann, Keegan Akin was moved from the 10 day IL to the 60 day IL.

Pregame Ceremony:  Orioles honor the winner of the Jim Palmer Award for Minor League Pitcher of the year, Grayson Rodriguez, and the co-winners of the Brooks Robinson Award for Minor League Player of the year, Adley Rutschman and Kyle Stowers.

Gametracker makes it appear that Zimmerman really got squeezed on the walk to Devers.  3 of the four balls looked like strikes.
