If the Orioles are going to sign another SP they’d better do it. They won’t be ready to start the season.  I don’t expect them to even sign  filler guy at this point.

But still, 5 starts? I hate to make the analogy, but it reminds me of Ubaldo's 5 starts in Sept. 2016: 3-1, 2.31, 0.829 WHIP.

Anyway, sure, I'll play... not my $7 million, as they say.

But its not just the results, but how he got the results. That's really the key. Anytime you see a small sample size like 5 starts you are right to question how that plays for the future, but when you see a difference in stuff that contributes to it, it should make us feel a little better.

Now, the question is, how or why did the slider improve so much? Is it sustainable?
