Bonus points if you had Brett Cumberland (improving so far in second try at AAA) beating Adley Rutschman to the Show in 2022.

Wonderful job so far picking up the Keuchel mantle from Means.    I still feel like surviving a first full season in a rotation will be too heavy a lift, but in the category of hoping I'm wrong, this is what it would look like.

Yes. And if were to choose between Gaus and Zimm right now I would take the Z. Would make an interesting poll.

Melanie Newman said on the radio that when Buxton struck out in the first inning, it was the first strikeout of Zimmermann's career that came on a fastball.

Great numbers so far. I haven’t seen too much in person because you know the whole team being unwatchable thing.

It’s very impressive the way he’s stepped up this year. He’s the de facto ace at this point.

Zimm does seem to have figured “it” out. ERA won’t stay in the 1.00’s so expect some bad outings to regress to the mean but it sure appears we have a nugget.
