13 pitcher maximum delayed until May 30th

No word yet on whether it will be a 27-man roster instead of the 26-man roster during the interim or whether the entire league is going to send a pitcher down and bring up a position player on May 30th.

I think that is prudent. Keep it at 27 for that extension period, I hope.

Actually, after thinking about it further I like this for two reasons specific to the Orioles:

1) It means there's no real danger of Baumann being optioned per @wildcard's prediction. I do admit, he's one of the easier guys to option if there's a roster crunch, as much as I'm sure they'd prefer not to. But there's a lot of out-of-options relievers on the club currently. The pitcher will almost certainly be Lakins.

2) If it's still a 26-man limit, then it really puts the crunch on one of the 3 worst players on the roster: Owings, Odor, or McKenna. However I'll be surprised if it's not 27.

Rosters still being at 26 is fantastic because that means we have to axe one of the position players. While I hope it's Owings, it could be McKenna due to the option.

Buehler had a complete game last night!

For the younger readers of OH, a "complete game" is what it is called when one pitcher pitches the entire game for his team.   This is actually possible, although very rare.
