So Roster Resource has Cardinals starting lineup as two switch hitters and seven RHB.

Tigers have Austin Meadows in the middle and Akil Baddoo at the bottom, but to extent Fry is a lefty specialist if he's anything, we could probably do with someone else this week.

Especially since we picked up Logan Allen.   We don't really need 4 lefties in the pen.

Lopez threw 25 pitches yesterday and now he's in a 6-1 game in the 9th?   That's idiotic.   Guarantees he won't be available tomorrow and maybe affects Wednesday as well.

Meh, not that irregular nor is he really trending toward overuse in any meaningful way, at least IMHO.

He pitched pretty much every other day through April 23 (1.0 IP).

Then he didn't pitch again until the 29th, where he pitched 0.1 inning. He had 2.0 IP the next day (April 30).

He then had 3 days off before his next appearance, throwing 1.0 IP on May 4, then 1.1 IP the next day (May 5).

Had two full days off before yesterday's day game.

I'm surprised Hyde even used him with a 5 run lead and if Lopez gets into any type of a jam Hyde is going to end up burning another bullpen arm. Just idiotic managing of the bullpen by Hyde who is probably getting direction from Sig on these decisions.

To be fair, he had him up and warming with the bases loaded in the 8th (posters in this very thread on the edge of their seats that this game was on the verge of slipping away), so it's not as cut and dry as just bringing him in up 5 in the 9th.
