I was just tooling around the Internet -- had not known that Tito Francona came up through the Browns/Orioles system and played two years with the Orioles.

He took some health leave this season, at least a week.  Can't remember if it was Covid or something else.

Ok looks like the O's have a chance even if it's small. I was at my kid's middle school band concert. They had three different middle school bands play and it lasted 2.5 hours. I've had more pleasant trips to the dentist. Plus the band director clearly loves the sound of his own voice.

I think the biggest reason Mazzilli got hired was because Angelos wanted to stick it to the Yankees by poaching one of their coaches.  That really worked out.
