I'd hate to see that. He's been a purveyor of ineptitude and disappointing finishes since he's taken that job, it'd be a shame to see them make a move. -
I went down the rabbit hole of name pronunciations and apparently in Norwegian, KJ produces a sound that doesn't exist in English, so replacing that sound with a K and making the J silent is a reasonable approximation. I thought it would be "keer-stad" in whatever Nordic country origin, but nope. They use the same vowel sound as the English pronunciation. -

Yankees were leading 3-1 in the 9th, two outs and nobody on base. And lost 5-3. That has to really stick in their craw. They also had a brain fart on the bases (by Volpe) that cost them a run early in the game. Yankees now 5-15 in their last 20, and if they don't turn things around before the AS break I have to believe Boone is a dead man walking.
