True, I guess, although some of his stuff is at least "jazz-adjacent".  Pink Panther theme comes to mind.  Certainly some jazz like elements in that.

The definition of jazz can be kind of nebulous.  I remember when Norah Jones' first big hit album came out I waded deep into a multi page internet thread with people passionately arguing whether or not it counted as jazz.  It went on forever, to the point where I just wanted to say, just enjoy the music, or not if you don't like it, but spending thousands of words arguing about what it is or isn't just seemed ridiculous.
