Odor's signing is on a minor league deal with an invite to camp.  But they need a left handed bench option and he has a real chance to be added to the 40 man at the end of ST.

He might do that clubhouse good honestly. Plenty of talent there but they might need a glue guy.

He was a great mentor for our guys last year...especially the ones that were primarily Spanish speaking.  I'll never forget the times he would run over to the mound to give Bautista a pep talk and he would immediately throw better.

I can't be mad at Odor for not being good enough. He seems like a helluva guy and I know some don't like it, but he really did provide some veteran leadership last season.

Or more.  I wouldn't be surprised if the got to the 400 at bats with the Rockies.

I'm sure the plan is to flip him at the deadline.

He rejected a $7.5 mm player option with the Padres and got a $1 mm buyout.  So, I guess he’s $1.25 mm to the good side.
