They really weren't bad looking caps, but Cal didn't like them, so they were abandoned very quickly.

Too bad the Orioles don't have any players on the current roster who (A) have the kind of clout Cal had and (B) hate the City Connect uniforms as much as Cal hated the gray caps.

That 2005 team was seriously overachieving. I was questioning their success the whole first half thinking can they really keep this up?

The 2023 Orioles probably need some tweaking if they want to make it to the playoffs, but I don't watch this team thinking they've overachieved. This team is loaded with young talent top to bottom.

Baseball is funny how at the beginning of the year if you'd asked me are the Orioles better than the Twins, I would have said, Of course not, and watching tonight looks the same way, but a half season of baseball has been played and our record is 10 games better.

The 2023 team has been the definition of overachieving. I hope they get everything back on track, but let's not pretend that they are a sure thing.

Not a sure thing, but I don't see them crashing and burning like the 2005 team finishing 74-88. This is an above .500 team.
