Perhaps if it was a legit nickname that was actually being bestowed upon said player. This is just the Orioles Twitter account (and I guess Kevin Brown at one point) trolling. No one actually refers to him as King Felix and no one is actually trying to make that nickname happen. Talk about making a mountain (no pun intended) out of a molehill.

King Felix from now on. Let’s get him a new post ASB entrance. He’s cool enough to have two nicknames. Even if we just do it for home games versus Seattle the rest of his career.

I wouldn't have done it, but I also wouldn't have harassed him during the All Star game celebration.
