That’s what happens when you have an 84-78 wildcard team and a 90-72 wildcard team in the World Series.  MLB chose quantity over quality.

I didn't watch it so I was wondering what the ratings were going to be. We had unseasonably warm weather with seasonable festivities so there were plenty of options of something to do.

If I could upvote this, I would. This is exactly what this is. A watering-down of the postseason. They wanted to mimic the NFL playoffs. Big mistake. The NFL is a unique beast.
