Another “interesting” thing about Mordan is how he OPS .582 in his first year in the DSL and had to repeat. In his 2nd year he had a .555 OPS. Both years he showed virtually no power. Then last year an .894 OPS with lots of power. Maybe he made swing changes. Maybe he hit the weight room. Maybe he got stronger. It’s just a little odd that his first two years were that bad and then ………..

As much as I am desperate to see the O’s win, there are some things that I consider non-negotiable for me personally and as a fan. I could and would never support the O’s if they did something like what is being suggested. I’m not willing to forsake character and a moral compass just to see my team win a championship… no thanks. Hard pass for me! But I know/accept that’s just me… to each their own. -
Pretty ridiculous, but also fair to say.

I would be absolutely shocked if Basallo was traded unless that help is team controlled for at least 3 years AFTER this year. Basallo is going to be an absolute beast at the major league level as an impact middle of the order bat. I still don't see Holliday, Mayo or Basallo getting moved.

You definitely don't want someone starting with that walk rate. At least with a bullpen guy you can control the damage a bit. -
I know that won’t be the rotation. We have added a veteran starter each of the last few years but now all the sudden the doom and gloom people act like we will do nothing. I expect either one top of rotation type or 2 solid starters. 1 will probably be in July this year with team control.
