That was a 1st pitch curveball on the second one. The power is certainly not in question and the bat is certainly quick. 

In a hitters league where the top guy is batting .500, Creed is 18th in the league with .345/.424/.586. He has 1 HR, 2 doubles and a triple. Not too bad. Did the light go on this year for this kid? He's having a good AFL.

One thing to keep in mind with Willems, if he had went to TCU he would have been just making his pro debut this year like our 2024 draftees. Same age. 

Let’s say if we drafted him in the 3rd rd this year, and he put up the last month that he did in the pros, would we have him rated higher?

Perception. He’s still penalized by being viewed as a guy that our FO just threw remaining cash at because we struck out on other overslot signings, and he struggled his first year in pro ball. I guess he could’ve just been on the bench at TCU as a 2nd C.

If we are looking at numbers alone, and playing against age appropriate competition, he has to be the most underrated Orioles prospect.  Not just for what he's doing in the AFL.  It's his body of work over the last two years.  He's going to be a major league player.
