Kjerstad On The Way?

Are they actually going to play him this time?  Otherwise it doesn't matter if he's just going to rot on the bench like before.

You are not going to get a good pitcher for Stowers and/or Norby.  You are going have to trade one of the top prospects of Mayo or Kjersted  to get a decent return.

Where do you even play him? He shares a spot with out better performers right now.

He will pinch hit for guys that Mayo could be playing over and not need to be pinch hit for.

This doesn't matter if they're just gonna sit him on the bench, give him one start a week or whatever and then have to pinch hit in late situations.

I'm not a huge Kjerstad believer but I'd at least like to see him play.

Start him at LF/DH 3-4 times a week and pinch hit when possible.  Otherwise leave him in Norfolk.  Calling him up to sit is stupid.

Whose decision is it for Kjerstadt to not play?  Is it solely on Hyde?

That's right.  

I like Cowser, but he's getting frustrating to watch.  I do like his defense a lot but if HK is taking at bats from him right now, I'm not too upset about it.  Hays can sit more.  Put Cowser in CF if they're going to give Mullins a break.  I wouldn't mind seeing HK, Cowser, Santander.

I predict Kjerstad will play more than his previous callup.  Stowers and Norby both got some starts while they were up, and I think it's because the organization wanted to showcase them for trades.  I think they want to showcase Kjerstad as well, and the only way to do that is to get him some regular at bats.

Not advocating it but it could be reasonable to send Cowser back down. This would ensure Kjerstad is playing and Cowser could work a few things with daily starts. That would also leave Maton available for a Mayo call up.
