Grayson absolutely should have come back out. Butler had looked terrible against him. The second hit was a bad chop. Nothing wrong with it. Just didn’t work out.

Grayson absolutely hates being taken put of the game. He likes to play and he's a competitor. But it was definitely time for the pitching change.

He gave up 3 GB hits the last 2 innings. xBA’s of .120, .180, and .070 on those GB’s.  I’m surprised he came back out but he gave up virtually no hard contact. The walk is what killed him last inning.

Almost like Hyde is saying, “Look, Mike, this is what your delaying is reducing me to have to do” by sending him out there again. KB says it shows confidence in Grayson, I think it’s actually a lack of confidence in his BP.
