Ok cool. Thinking isn’t for everyone but most of us are able to look at next year since nothing we think or talk about will have an impact on any game.

Plus we are locked into the 2nd wc spot and it was an off day. I personally don’t see Seattle or Boston overtaking us.

I’m with you, notwithstanding the subsequent snarky comments about this post.  I’ve got all winter to think about 2025, and there are things remaining to happen this season that could affect what we do for next year.   So for now I’m just focused on this year’s team.   But if others want to multitask, good for them.

That's correct.

We've had too many seasons in recent history where we were looking ahead to the next season by June.

I believe the market is almost exclusive. It’s like if you go to a restaurant and see a friend there and you say “I see they just let anybody in here.”

I even said I know he isn't going to be DFA that would be silly but no way in hell should the Orioles count on him being one of the top 5 next season. He has sucked bad. Now put him in long relief to start the year and if he gets his crap together he can eventually get his starting job back. He even got shellacked in his minor league start the other day. Team control means nothing if you aren't good enough. Not comparing his situation to Chris Davis and the financial impact of the 2 but I bet you the Orioles wish they didn't have control in the years with that contract. Team controll is nice with someone like Eflin.
