If the Orioles were to part ways with Brandon Hyde. Who do you think would get considered for the job? I would consider Terry Francona, Buck Showalter, Buck Britton just to name a few.

I don’t think it’s happening until next summer at the earliest. And that’s if things go badly between now and then. 

Of the three you mentioned, Britton would be a good short list candidate. I don’t think Buck would be considered and I don’t think Terry would come out of retirement.

There will not be any major coaching changes. This is going to be a 90-win playoff team that lost four of its top six SP. 

Maybe the hitting coach goes if they finish the season singing the same note they are right now.  But Hyde isn’t going anywhere and probably not the rest of his staff.

The only way there is a coaching search is if Hyde says I need a break from this stress.  He looks like he has gained 10 years the last few months watching this team.

I would like someone to look back on games in the second half and tell me how many Hyde lost. I think the hitting coach goes. But this team can't hit, field, or pitch consistently. How does Hyde fix all of those things. Now, if the players are quitting on him that is one thing, but everytime teams perform poorly we start hearing about chemistry. The players need to perform better.

I doubt there will be a change but I'm sure it would be someone who is on the Elias/Sig train of thinking.

Carlos Beltran was always considered a excellent choice until the Astros scandal. Does David Ross or Joe Giraldi deserve another shot?  See if Dusty or Madden are interested in coming back like Bruce Bochty did. The funny thing is most people though Hyde was only here for the losing years and would be replaced with someone better then the 101 wins happened last year.

Supplementing the retirement checks. I have no interest a 70 year old MLB manager and I doubt Elias does either.

AJ Pierzynski is a hot name around the league and ex catchers usually do pretty well as managers.
